Splendidly Entertained.
Here is what the Wavnetowii Dispatch says of Miss Mary Gilbert's Entertainments. ‘•On Friday and Saturday ot last week, under the auspices of the Busy Gleaners of the M. El eldirch Miss Mary Gilßert. reader and violinist, rendered two very pleasing literary and musical programs to the appreciation and delight of everyone present. Again on Sunday evening she appeared with a splendid program before a crowded bouse. Miss Gilbert’s readings are an inspiration to her hearers and her performance on the, violin bespeaks the soul of the artist. She is very good, and those who failed to bear her, missed one of the best treats offered our people for many a day, Waynetosyn would indeed be fortunate could we be favored by’ more entertainers the equal of Miss Gilbert.’’ Miss Gilbert has been secured for two entertainments here, Tuesday and Wednesday April Id and 17 at Trinity M. E. church.
