The New York Pays Promptly.
The late James W. Pierce took out a life insurance policy in the New York Life Insurance Co„ in June 1900, for $2,000. A. B. Baker of Rensselaer local agent and O. W. Wellington, of Goodland General agent.. Mr. Pierce died ar 2nd. L9Ol, having carried the insurance only about 9 months. Within less than 20 days after Mr. Pierce’s death, proofs of the fact had been furnished, and the money paid over to the estate The late Joseph Austin, of Wheatfield also took out one of this same ooinpany’s incontestible polioies, last summer, and for $5,000. His claim was paid with equal promptness.
