The Women’s Baptist Missionary Conference.
The Women’s Baptist Missionary Conference, for Monticello Baptist Association, was in session at the Rensselaer First Baptist Church, Thursday; and bad an interesting, profitable and wel attended meeting. Among those who are here from other places are the following: Rev. W. T. Carpenter, Mrs. Caroline Buck, Mrs. Jennie Thompson and Mrs. Sadie Mugg, of Goodland. Rev. I. W. Bailey, Mrs. Henry Perkins, Mrs. Amanda Gerard, Misses Della Wiley and Lizzie Bailey, of Burnettsville, Rev. J. W. Keller, Miss Maggie Rogers, Mrs. Jennie Wicken, of Monon, Mrs. Reuben Jeffrey, of Indianapolis. Rev. P. H. Faulk, of Morocco. ■ c The session last night was specially interesting. Mrs. Jefrey, who is state secretary of the Women’s Home Missions Society, gave an address on Missions. Following her, Dr. Norman Carr, D. D., of Franklin College, preached.
