Bought a Paper and Struck Oil.

On Monday, acoording to the press dispatches, Wm. J. Spruce, of Elwood, former proprietor of the Elwood Daily Call, closed up the purchase of the Kokomo Daily and Semi-Weekly News, for $9,000. The same day he received a,telegram stating that a big oil well had been struck on his farm in Jasper county.
