Another Monon Consolidation Rumor.

According to a Columbus O. dispatch another big railroad combination has been formed by J. Pierpont Morgan. The four roads amalgamated are the Southern Railway, the Cincinnati, Hamilton & Dayton, the Chicago, Indianapolis & Louisville and the Cincinnati Southern. The Cincinnati Southern is said to be owned jointly by the Southern and the Cincinnati, Hamilton & Dayton! The Motion*Roaid, the C. I. &L. is said to be ciosely identified with the Morgan interests and thus has close relations with A the Southern. There is also a strong freight traffic relation between the Southern and the C. H. & D. This consolidation rumor lacks confirmation however, and is disbelieved in railroad circles in Indianapolis, where it is said that state laws present the consolidation of railroads on different sides of the Ohio river.
