Thursday’s Night’s Fire Alarm.

The fire alarm sounded about 5 o’clock Thursday afternoon. Sparks from a burning chimney, at the Mrs. Hemphill property, on Front street, occupied by Charles and Christie Vick’s families caused the trouble. The roof was set on fire, but the fire was put out before the company arrived. No damage worth mentioning.
