Indianapolis Journal. The Monon is having built two hundred flat cars of 100,000 pounds capacity to use in its stone traffic. The Monon train which runs between Chicago and Cincinnati over the Monon and the Cincinnati. Hamilton & Dayton came out of the shops yesterday after a general overhauling. It is modem in all respects. George Lowell, general superintendent of the Monon lines, was in the city yesterday. He made the statement that since the trains of the Monon were equipped with air brakes and automatic couples accidents had decreased 60 per cent.
