The Patriotic Entertainment.

The Patriotic Entertainment Thursday evening, by the Ladies’ Literary Club, had a good attendance, considering the severity of the weather. The exercises were of a high order of merit. A paper on "Jasper County in the Civil* War,” by Mrs. M. E. Spitler was the most notable'number of the program. Miss Coffin also gave a fine “Tribute to Queen Victoria. t ’ Fine music was furnished by Mrs. S. P. Thompson and Misses Mildred Harris, Nellie Imes and Kathryn Marshall. Mrs. Fol‘z gave a declamation.
