Another Big Suit Against the Monon.
Otto J. Hinkle, one of the bridge carpenters severely injured Aug. 16 last by the giving away of the false work on the Monon railroad bridge that crosses the Wabash river just north? of Lafayette, brought suit for damages against the Monon railway last Friday in the Tippecanoe Circuit court for SIO,OOO. The complaint alleges that as a result of the injuries received in said accident that the plaintiff has since been unable to earn a livelihood by following his occupation. This is the first case brought against the Monon as the result of the accident in which two men were killed and several injured at the before'mentioned time.
