The County Commissioners.

The County Commissioners finished up the work of their February term, Tuesday afternoon. In the matter of coal for the county, the Parke County Coal Company was given the contract for 3 car loads of soft coal, at the rate of $2.60 per ton. For hard coal Coen & Brady were given the contract for 20 tons at $7 60 per ton. Ella Elizabeth Hawkins, was appointed a student at Purdue University, whenever there was vacant scholarship belonging to the county.
