Born to Mr. and Mrs. John Kieth last week an eight pound girl. ! Herman Ahlers went to Kankakee 111. Friday for a few days stay on business. Warren Wilson moved to Morocco on Thursday of last week. German & O’Meara the painters are painting railroad crossing signs and also names of the statioss to be put up at all stations along the line of the C. & W. V. Railroad. Thurman Smith will go to Chicago this week on a busines trip. Alta Stevenson is going to school at McCoysburg. John Reed of the firm of F. M. Reed & Co. of Gifford is on the sick last. Sam Cliftons shooting match Saturday was a good one. Wm. Grode was arrested on Thursday and placed in the Winamac jai for forgery. He raised a chech of $1.25 to $235. We were unable to learn the full particulars.
