Thinks Spirits Made the Picture.

A prominent lawyer of Rochester, Fultcn county, and a citizen of average mental weight, one Julius Rowley, has secured what he claims is a picture of his father, who died 28 years ago in New York, and that the picture was made by a spirit. It is said that the father never had a photograph taken. The son became a convert to spiritualism and was imformed that a medium could secure a picture of his father. While in Chicago recently, he went to a medium, and Rowley claims a canvas was placed on an easel in plain view of himself and a friend and in half an hour an excellent likeness had been produced without human hands touching the canvas. The picture has been *on public exhibition in a store window, for some time, and a cut of it was given a few days ago, in the Indianapolis News. Mr. Rowley paid the meduims $25 for the picture.
