Bill For Preserving Health.

A bill for preserving the health of Indiana school children has been drafted by Secretary Hurty, of the Indiana State Board of Health. Among other things it provides that thesite on which a school house is built shall be dry and not nearer than 1,000 feet from any noise-making industry or unsanitary conditions. The heating shall be uniform and modem methods of ventilation shall ’be observed. Common drinking cups and water buckets are condemned and smooth glass drinking cups are to be provided, Hygiene and sanitkry science are to be taught once a week in the schools.
