Another Diphtheria Death.

Polly Starkey, daughter of John Starkey, living in Barkley tp., on one of the Gifford farms, 9 miles north and 2| miles east of Rensselaer. died Tuesday, Jan. 29, of diphtheria. Her sickness lasted from Dec, 18th. Her age was 9 years, 1 month and 25 days. ,The burial was made on Wednesday forenoon, at Prater cemetery, and was without a public funeral.
