One More Divorce Case.
A new divorce case from Remington has been filed in circuit court Paul F. A. Meyer is the plaintiff and Augusta C. Meyer the defendant. If they belong to the much litigating and often divorcing Meyers of that town, deponent saith not. They were riaarribd Sept. 20, 1899 and separated Dec. 23,1900. Plaintiff says defendant is guilty of cruel and inhuman treatment in that she has often used language that very pointedly impugned his moral character, and accused him of frequenting the company of females not to be mentioned in polite society; and thereby, in the language of the complaint, “causing plaintiff great mental pain, torment, vexation, affliction, grief and misery.” Besides not feeling very well himself. He wants a divorce and“all other proper relief.” But what kind and how much relief he expects for all those different kinds of suffering he does not slate.
