Vannie Lesh’s Insurance.
Vannie Lesb, whose bouse, 6or 7 miles north of town, was burned last Saturday, as previously stated will get about $450 insurance. Of this $350 will be on his house and SIOO on the household goods. He had the latter insured for S2OO but about half of them were saved. He did not lose the whole of his residence, as a milk house and summer kitchen was saved. It stood only about 2 feet from the main building, but was saved by active exertions of the familjKand neighbors. From which it is evident that there must be a pretty effiicent volunteer fire department right around in that neck of woods.
