Rensselaer Semi-Weekly Republican, Volume 22, Number 37, Rensselaer, Jasper County, 25 January 1901 — Mount Left No Will. [ARTICLE]

Mount Left No Will.

So far as relatives and friends of ex-Governor Mount know he left no will. If such is the case it must have been prepared in Indianapolis, but those in position to know venture the opinion that none will be found. A fair estimate of the value of Mr. Mount’s accumulation is between $40,000 and $50,000. He owned in Montgomery county over 500 acres of land worth perhaps S7O per acre and the farm well stocked. He also had a bank account saved from the profits of the farm. Mr. Mount carried no life insurance. The entire estate will go to his wife and children.
