Run Out of Lower-Case F’s.

The Elwood Record had the misfortune to run out of lower-case “f’s” last week, and the intelligent compositor substituted “j’s” for the missing letters. In consequence one of the Record’s news items read like this: ‘‘According to the reports oj the jamily oj Wiljord Rajjerty, Clijjord McFarland, east oj the tin plate jactory, jired a brick .through the window oj the Rajjerty home, the ojjensive missle jinding a place in the jireplace, but jortunately none oj the jamily was hurt.”—Tipton Tribune.
