Special notice to teachers.
The questions in reading for the Diploma examination, 1901, will be based on the following selections: March—“For A’That and A* That.” April—‘“Chambered Nautilus.” May—-“ Biography of Holmes” During the year 1901 there will be two sets of questions on the Science of Education and Literature for each month for the common sohool license. —ln each subject there will be a list upon the general field of the subject and a list upon the work of the Reading Circle books, the applicant may select either list. No definite chapters of the books will be the basis of the examinations. The examinations in Music for both the Diploma and Teachers examinations will be taken from the Bi-monthly question for the year 1900-1901. Teachers examinations will be held at the Rensselaer High School building the last Saturday of each month beginning with January and ending with August. Date and location of Diploma examinations will be announce later. January 14th, 1901.
