Crushed Oyster Shells.

This is one of the best egg producers known. Hens have more difficulty in getting oarbonate of lime to form the shell than any other part of the egg, and fail to lay for this reason. Crushed Ouster Shell contains 96 per oent of pure carbonate of lime, and onethird more eggs are positively received from ipecs that have free access to it, trusting them to eat the amount necessary to form the egg.
