Library to be Open Longer.
The directors of the Jasper public library, at their meeting Saturday evening, re-elected S. P, Thompson president, J> J. Hunt vice president, J. F. Major secretary and Mies Stella Parkison librarian. An order was made for the librarian to hereafter keep the library open two hours every day instead of one, as heretofore. It will be open from 15 minutes be* fore 4p. m. to 15 minutes before 6. Saturdays it will be open all the afternoon, as before. The standing committees were also somewhat revised. In regard to the new library piano, the rule was made to charge for its services; at entertainments and meetings held in the east court room, at the rate of $1 per day, and $1.50 for day and evening.
