The Bishop’s First Visit.

Rt. Rev. Herman J. Alepding, the newly ordained bishop of the Catholic diocese of Fort Wayne, is made his first visit to St. Joseph’s College Thursday. He arrived Wednesday afternoon, and was met at the depot by a detachment of Columbian Guards, from the college, and by them escorted to the college. Wednesday evening a reception was given at the college, in his honor, and the historical drama, Pizzaro was repeated by the college literary society. On Thursday, morning, the bishop celebrated pontifical liigh mass. Some 25 visiting priests have been at the college to meet the bishop.
