Application for Liquor License. Notice is hereby given to the citizens of the Town of Parr, and of Union Township, Jasper Count , Indiana, that the undersigned Joseph Conway, a male Inhabitant of the State of In Tana over the age of twenty-one years of go, d moral character, and a man not in the habit of becoming Intoxicated and who has been a continuous resident of said town end township for more than ninety days last past and who Is in respect to all legal requirements and qualifications a fit and proper person to be intrusted with the eale of intoxicating liquors and whois and will be the actual owner and proprietor of said business If lice se be granted him will apply to the Board of Commissioners of the County of Jasper at their January Term commencing on January 7. 1901. for a licnnse to sell, and barter splrltous. vinous and malt and all other iutoxicatlng liquors in less quantities than aqu-rt at a time with the privilege of allowing the same to be drank on the premises where soldo nd bartered. That the location of the room in which this applicant will ask for a license tosed anbarter liquors as afore said Is on the ground floor of a two story frame building situated upon the north end of the west twenty f et off of the west side < f out lot twelve in the village of Parr, Jxsper Couutv, Indiana. Bald bull Ung being more particularity described as follows: commencing at a point three feet south of the north west corner of said out lot twelve and ruuntng thencs south a distance ol thirty two feet aud three inches thence e»st a distance of eighteen feet and three inches thence north a distance of thirty two feet and three inch's thei.ee wsst a distance of eighteen feet and three inches to the place of eighteen. Said room in which applicant desires to sell being thirty one feet five inches by seventeen feet five inches inside measurement. The applicant says that said room fronts upon Firman street a public street in said village of Parr and that the front of said room facing the said street is furnished with two large glass windows and one large panel door with glass therein and that the whole of said room may be viewed from the street: that there is one window upon the west side thereof and one door and one window in the south end of said room,that the said room is seperate and apart from any other business of any kind whatever; that they are no devices for amusement or music of any kind or character in or about said room; that the same can be securely locked and admission thereto at all times prevented, and that there are no partitions or partition in said room. The applicant says that he is qualified as an applicant for said license for the said place. The applicant will ask for a license for a period of one year and permission to sell cigar and tobaccos in connection therewith. Joseph Comway.
