In the Philippine Islands and Cuba are not being overlooked by the TJ. S. Government, as the Commissary Department has secured a large consignment of Libby, McNeill & Libby’s Peerless Plum Pudding, to be served to them at Christmas dinner. Our soldier boys will, therefore, have a taste of home life on Christmas eveu though they are far from home. It Is estimated that the number of colored votes eliminated from the Southern polls by additional laws passed during the past four years will amount to about 300.000.
