Earl Newland went to Harrod, Ohio, Sunday to spend Xtnas with his parents, he will return in about ten days. A. Meckling and family visited B. F. Funk at Wheatfield Thursday. Tom Akers did business at Rensselaer Saturday. Dr. Charles Walker, of Lansing, Mich., is visiting T. M. Callahan and Arthur Meckling at Comer this week. H. Ahlers transacted business at Francesville Friday. Sam Stephen went to Nortn Judson Sunday. Bafney Newland and Jim Hana. ford were in Lafayette a couple of days last week. I. T. Bunch has moved over to the oil fields where he has secured a good position on a salary $55 per month.
