$75 Would Have Been Good Pay.

No matter now often or how vehemently the Reformer may assert that his charge of $l5O was only a fair price for the election ballots, and no matter how much some neighboring counties may have been robbed, we know that they could have been furnished for $75 and a fine profit made on the job. And in every way as good a job as his was. And the Reformer knows it too. The paper and printiug just as good and the counting and packing justasacourate. We have done this work every election heretofore since the Australian ballots have been used, and we know exactly whereof we speak. We know further that at $75 a far better profit could be made on the job than the average profit on job or commercial printing. Still further we know that if the law had required the job to be let to the lowest responsible bidder, as most such word must now be let, the price would not have exceeded shs.
