Had a Hard Experience.

Ed Heath, of Aydelotte, Benton County, who is over here figuring on buying a residence in Rensselaer and also buying stock for his big farm in Benton, had a tough experience, Wednesday morning. He was driving west on the road leading through Surrey* and when about at Union sohool house, 4 miles north of town, one of his neckyoke straps gave way. His team took fright and ran two miles, straight west, before he could get them stopped. He kept in the buggy seat but the banging and f jolting over the rough roads need and bruised him up pretty badly, especially on the back and shoulders. His arms also suffered greatly from the constant pulling at the lines, and also the cold. The buggy top was down, or no doubt the buggy would have been upset. The buggy was broken considerably, and one of the horses pretty badly hurt.
