Truman Haskins, the noted trapper and hunter of the Kankakee river region near English Uke, has caught over 600 mink and muskrat this winter. He has hundreds of traps placed all over the nurshes and his business is a great success financially. He has had seventy-three traps stolen within the past few weeks and no doubt lost considerable fur at the same time.
