Starke County RepubHcan; Expommissioner W. A. Collins, of Wayne township, .received his jre turns Saturdav from the Kalaraa • * zoo Beet Sugar refiner. Mr. Collins planted five acres of beets and kept careful account oF.the expense of growing and marketing them. The check he received called for $74.57, which was just $3.43 more than it cost, to raise the beets and sell them. In other wcfrds, Mr. Collins has received $3;43 for the use of five acres of good land for one year.
