Goodland’s Conuty Seat Election Hung Up.

The question of an election to remove the county seat of Newton county to Goodland is now in the courtsand will,: it is stated, be fought to a finish. Being carried at once to the Supreme Court, which ever way the circuit court decides. The Kentland Enterprise states that an “agreed case” will be made up and submitted to the Supreme Court, and the final decisiowbe thus greatly expedited. What ought to be done, however, is for the coming state legislature to repeal the present Newton couu ty seat law, And pass a fair and justoneinijsstAad; and one adapted to the state of things as they there exist. ■ f *’ * ■ /• l
