The Amendments are Lost.

Governor Mount decided last Mondap that the two proposed constitutional amendments were defeated at the recent election. Both amendments had about two votes for them to one against, but the Governor decides that that they should have received a majority of all the voters in the state, and not having done so he holds that they are lost. It is stated that the governor did not consult even the attorney general but decided the whole matter on his own responsibility.
