Death of Mrs. G. W. Payne.

Word waa received here Thursday of the sudden and unexpected death of the wife of Capt. G. W. Payne, now of Frankfort. She was on her way to California, with a party of fiiends, to spend the winter. Her death occnred suddenly, at some point, in Colorado. She will be taken to Frankfort for burial, where her husband now is. He was not on the trip with her. His daughter Mrs. W. H. Stephenson went to Frankfort that afternoon. No particulars of the cause and manner of her death have been received. She was not in poor heallh. , ’
