McCulley Charged With Arson.
An affidavit was filed Thursday morniug charging Charles R. McCulley, a notorious old character of Remington, with arson. He was put into the callaboose at Remington on Oct. 9th for drunkenness or some other minor offence, and while incarcerated is charged with having set fire to the place, presumably with the hope of escaping. It is in the same building as the town hall, and he is charged with trying to burn the hall. His trial is set for the last week of the term.
