Barnard’s Bleached Bones Found.

The bleached bones of Perry E. Barnard, who murdered his divorced wife, Jennie Davis, at Flora, Carroll Co., June 14th, last, and seriously wounded his mother-in-law and hi 6 four year old daughter, were found in a field only half a mile from Flora, Wednesday, by a party of hunters. During the hunt for Barnard this field was searched time and again, but because of the high weeds the body was not found. A reward of SSOO was offered for his capture, and many reports that be had been seen at different points were spread, the last being that Sheriff Bridge had captured him last Saturday and lodged him in the 1 Monticello jail. There is no doubt that the body is that of Barnard, as he was a painter by trade, and the clothing found is reoognized, by the style of the garments and the paint upon it. A bullet bole through the skull shows how the man ended his life.
