The Circuit Court.

Jesse Summers, of Keener Tp. plead guilty to the oharge of assault and battery upon Wm Lewark, and was fined $5 and cost. The assault was committed Nov. sth. Wm. B. Chilcote was granted a divorce from Lydia Y. Chilcote. They were married July 3rd, 1871 and separated Oct. 4th, 1897. The grounds'upon which divorce was asked and granted was abandonment. The defendant now lives in Minnesota. They have 6 children, the youngest of whom is 12 year old. All the minor chik dren live with the mother.
