Health or the State.
The report of the State Board of Health for October has been given out. It shows that diseases due to poor ventilation are increasing, as are also typhoid fever, whooping cough and rheumatism. The diseases more peculiar to the warm months showed a decrease. Fourteen cases of smallpox were reported from a total of seven counties. Cass county had eight of these cases. Hog cholera was reported as existing in Hancock, Henry, Loporte, Miami, Union, Fayette and Clinton.
