The total vote in Jasper county on the two proposed constitutional amendments, was as follows. For Amendment No. 1 1772 Against “ “ “ 944 Majority for 828 For Amendment No. 2 1472 Against “ *• “ 719 Majority for 753 Amendments No. 1 is for increasing the Supreme Court Judges to not more than 12, and No. 2 is to enable the state legislature to prescribe qualifications for lawyers.
