Shooting and Thumping at Kentland.

Prosecuting Attorney Mills was called over to Kentland Wednesday night, by a shooting affair, which was thought to be a rather serious matter. Theodore Harnish thought Warren Drake was too attentive to the former’s wife, and followed him up, with the supposition that Drake was going to call on Mrs. Harnish, The latter was at her mother’s house, and when Drake got near the place, Harnish blazed away. Drake must have ducked, anyhow he didn’t get hit. He then took Harnish’s gnn away, and gave him a severe beating. Both were arrested and tried in a justice’s court. Harnish was fined for provoke and Drake lor assault and battery.
