The Last of the Small Pox.

The last act in the small pox epidemic in Jasper county took place, today, Thursday Oct. 18th. It consisted in the raising of the quarantine on the Robert Tooms’ family, west of Comer. Together with a thorough fumigating of the premises, destruction of infected clothing and bedding etc. The disease has never been outside of.the two families, Conns and Tooms. There were 13 cases in all and one death, the latter being a young infant. Great credit is due to County Health Officer English and the attending physicians for their success in stamping out this dangerous outbreak. ' —--
