STANDS WHERE IT DID
In a short speech at Zanesville, 0., on the morning of Sept. 3, -1900, from 11 ie rear of a Pullman platform, Mr. Bryan made the following brief statement of the financial issue in lliis campaign: “THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY STANDS WHERE p DID IN 1896 ON THE MONEY QUESTION.” V That -was all he said on the subject, but that is enough to open the eyes of American voters to the fact that; Bryanism today is as much a menace to a stable currency system as in 1896.
