Victoria’s Peacock Plate.

The most valuable piece of plate possessed by Queen Victoria is a peacock with outspread tail, made of solid gold and literally covered with diamonds, rubies, emeralds and other precious gems. It originally came from Seringapatam, is safeguarded at Windsor Castle and is worth a fabulous sum.
