The Indiana bulletin of charities and corrections for the month of September was issued Wednesday from the office ( cf the state board of charities, The document supplies statistics concerning the charitable and penal institutions of the state for the nine months ending July 31, 1900. The state prison required $84,369.81 for its regular expenses during the nine months referred to; the reformatory at Jeffersonville $101,601.22. The cost of maintenance of each inmate of the state prison was $105.16; of each inmate of the reformatory $112.68.
