Mrs. Francma Lambert, of Fair Oaks, was granted a divorce from George Lambert, for abandonment. Costs taxed to plaintiff, and paid. The grand jury completed their work and were discharged last Friday morning. ’ They visited the jail and poor farm; They report no inmates in the jail. That it is well and cleanly kept. They recommend that automatic flushing closets be placed in the rooms where femalep and insane persons are detained. The heating system is condemned as unsatisfactory and expensive, and recommend that the jail be heated from the same system as the court house is. The poor farm is reported with about 10 inmates. They are well cared for, cheerful and contented. The buildings are cleanly, comfortable and in good sanitary condition. The farm buildings are also kept in good condition.
