Old Settlers’ Meeting.

. The directors of the Jasper County Old Settlers’ Association held a meeting last Saturday after noon r at the court house. Judge S. P. Thompson was elected president of the association to suooeed W. R. Newels, resigned Friday and Saturday, Sept. 14th. and 15th ware chosen for this year’s re-union, which will be held in the thorn-tree grove in Rensselaer, near Judge Thompson’s residence.
