A Detective Company of Their Own.

Twenty citizens of the immediate vicinity of Cutler have organized a detective association and the same will be incorporated under the law of the state. The organization is to last for a period of twenty years and George W. Shanklin is to be captain of the company. A petition asking that each of the twenty members of the association be appointed special constable was filed wish the board es commissioners and the petition was favorably acted upon. The organization is effected for the purpose of mutual protectionThere has been a great many felonies committed in the vicinity of Cutler and the offenders of the law have escaped detection and prosecution.
