Danforth Buried at Fair Oaks.
Hawes A. Danforth, the man whose dead body was found Wednesday morning, by the Monon track, at Fair Oaks, was buried there in the afternoon. His sister Mrs. Minnie L. Proctor, of Lynn, Mass,, whose name and address were found in a letter, was communicated with by telegraph. Coroner Wright received a message from her on Thursday morning, directing him to send the body to Cliftondale, Mass., collect on delivery. But the railroads and express companies will not receive bodies unless all charges are prepaid, hence the body will remain where it is until undertaker’s fees and transportation charges are received. Judging from the man’s clothing and general appearance he was a respectable person, and probably a working man. The train from which' he is supposed to have stepped or fell, hasjiot been located, but the supposition is that it was the second section of the train due here at 11:04 p. m. From the conductors check in his hat it is thought he intended getting off at Rensselaer, but so far no one has been heard of who knows him here. He was fairly web dressed. On his person was found $3.56 in money and a revolver. Also a bible, evidently furnished by some mission in Chicago.
