A Statement From Mrs. Wallick
1, the undersigned, will swear, and can prove it by another lady that Mr. Smith did boldly insult me on the streets, July 2£tb, band concert night; and I told Mr. Wallick and Mr. Wallick brought it to Ms. Smith and Mr. Smith denied it and said that Mrs. Wallick lied, and was doing it to stop our trading. Then me and Mr. Wallick had some-words, for he seemed to take Mr. Smith’s part, and accused me of lying. Then I told him I could prove it by the other lady that it was so. Then I withdrew the suit and Mr. Wallick said he would hurt Smith for putting disturbance between us And I want Air. Smith to' tend to his own business, or I will prosecute him to the full extent of the law. Mrs. J. Y. W^llice.
