Ah There, Professor Eph!

Hand bills have been distributed for a “wonderful exhibition of Hypnotism,” at the Mt Ayr “Opera House” Saturday evening, August 4th. The performer is none other than “Professor E. Hickman,” our own Eph. The bills modestly proclaim him to be “the most famous and fearless Hypnotist that ever cast the spell of Wonder Working Power.” People do say that Eph has developed into a very good hypnotist. He is even said to surpass, in some respects, his great scarlettopped master in magic, Signor Billi Postelli, who has retired from his meteoric career, full of wealth'and honors, and is now hypnotizing hash in the Sigler House, at Cedar Lake. A career no less meteoric and a retirement no less splendid may safely be predicted for his great pupil, Professor Eph.
