What William Foster Thinks.
The venerable Wm. Foster, of Goodland, has built various railroads, among others the Chicago & Indiana Coal Road, which Rensselaer people made the mistake their lives-in not securing. Mr Foster knows- rhe value of railroads to towns and fafming communities as well as any man in Indiana. He has written numerous letters to our citizens, urging them to help secure Giffofd’s road, In one of these, dated July 13th, he says: “I iu your today’s papers that the Gifford road is still under discussion, and a meeting called for this evening lam ftt a loss to see how any of your citizens can oppose it or withhold their votes to aid in its construction.”
