Remington All Republican.

The Republicans of Remington elected all their candidates, Monday, over the so-called Citizens ticket, by majorities ranging from 17 to 70. Orville Maxwell, for Marshal, beat Dominic McGlynn by 39 majority That of Wm. Townsend, for clerk, over Ammon Beasley, was 17.

Wheatfield Goes Republican.

The Republicans elected their full town ticket at Wheatfield Monday. There were two tickets, in the field, the Republican ticket and a “Citizens’ ticket.” The vote for the Republican candidates was as follows. Clerk, L. Paulson 47 Treasurer, L. Paulson .47 Marshal, W. V. Brown. 54 Trustee, G. W. Fanson ,45 Citizens Ticket. Clerk, E. W. Phelps. 32 Treasurer, Geo. Nichols , 34 Trustee, H. Langdon ........ ..33 The Citizens endorsed «Brown for Marshal. Weston Cemetery Nearly Full

The dissmissal of the proceedings to condemn several acres of Thomas Robinson’sland, for cemetery purpose"' leaves the trustees of Weston cemetery with practically no burial lots to dispose of. They have riot more than three or four desirable lots left. That someaction will have to be taken soon> is very evident. ■ Just what that fiction will be however, is a problem not-easily solved. One sugg. sism is t< • (T(< the road and establish an annex to. the cemetery on Jand belonging to Simon Philips and others' ' Still another and much more radical suggestion to go seve’ral miles from town and establish an entirely new cemetery and of ample size to all likely future needs for a long time to come. A 40 acre tract on “Given’s hill,” some two or three miles north has especially been suggested as a good place for a cemetery. Short’s new feed and hitch barn is now ready for business. Good accommodations will be rendered to the public.
